On the result and the team’s performance: “I think we deserved to win, given the many chances we created, the number of times we got shots on target and the opportunities we produced. The first half went as we had prepared for since Monday, because our opponents were coming off two defeats and it was clear they would be looking for a reaction today. We knew we had to deal with that reaction, and we stood up to it. Then we grew into the game in the second half, and I like teams that finish matches strongly. That happened today, just as it did against Fiorentina, another team that will have a good season. The positive thing is that we finish games well and believe in what we are doing, especially the players. Today, we were also very curious, as a coaching staff, to see how we would perform against a team that plays in a similar way to us. A team that presses very aggressively and is very strong in duels and second-ball situations. The fact that we stood our ground in the areas where our opponents are strongest allowed us to play more in the second half, find more space and keep the ball for longer.”
On the team’s progress and development: “The growth of these players is the most beautiful thing. There is progress, there is confidence, and there is also a little disappointment at the end because we know that we play every match to win. So, when you don't win, especially when you may have deserved to, it is natural to feel some disappointment with the final result. We know very well that we must continue to grow and improve, because the team we are today is the result of that development and of all the hard work we put in during the week. If we keep working this way, I am convinced that the goals will come, and so will the points. Today, however, we want to focus on the positives, especially because since the start of the season, including friendly matches, we have conceded very few goals. Keeping a clean sheet today gives us confidence in what we are trying to do: defend a little higher up the pitch, but defend well, and prevent our opponents from getting into our penalty area. Today, they managed to get into our area very few times. So, overall, we are pleased and satisfied.”

"I think the team did a pretty good job overall. We struggled a little in the first half, but we knew that could happen. We had prepared for it all week. In the second half, we did well to react, read the game better and make better use of our chances and strengths. As for my own performance, I'm happy. Of course, there's always room for improvement, and I can always do better. This is also a starting point. We know the goal was missing. We created chances and did a much better job of creating opportunities in the second half than in the first. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the net, but we can improve, and we'll try to do even better in the next game".
