Serie A Women Athora, ahead of Inter Women-Como Women: the statements

About tomorrow’s match: “There is a strong desire to finish the season well, continuing along the path we’ve been following, which has led us to compete on equal terms — and sometimes even better — against important teams. That’s why tomorrow I expect the same kind of performance against Inter, hopefully combined with a victory.
Winning is always beautiful: I live to win, first as a player and now as a coach. I can see that the girls share the same mentality, and that makes me happy. I truly believe that this mindset is what can lead to important results in the future. Tomorrow, it would be great to achieve both things: continue our growth process and earn a positive result.”
About his first three months in women’s football: “What I always tell colleagues and friends is that these girls will always remain in my heart. That sentence sums up everything I’ve experienced in my first three months as Como Women head coach.”
About next season: “Obviously, I’m already thinking about next season. There are requests for confirmations, but there are also many aspects to evaluate: the management of the young players in our squad, as well as the situation involving players out on loan. Overall, though, I’ve seen a team that works well, that I really like, and that still has significant room for growth and improvement, also with the future in mind.”

“For the first time this season, I won’t have everyone available: in the last match against Napoli, Gilardi picked up a minor injury, so it will be up to the others to step up and show what they can do. Ruma proved in the last match that she is up to the task, while Capelletti deserves to play because of her professionalism and the way she has worked with me every day since arriving. Tomorrow, together with the coach, we will assess the situation more carefully: the final decision will be his.
A special mention also goes to Zilioli who, last week, received her first call-up to the First Team. She is only 16 years old, and for her it is already a reward to be here with us.
This has undoubtedly been a positive season: I coach a fantastic group of girls and, as for Astrid, she has been showing for some time through her performances on the pitch that she can become the future of the National Team. Her development over the past two seasons has been remarkable, especially considering that she still has huge margins for growth and improvement.”
