Milan started brightly, with Van Dooren taking advantage of a defensive deflection and finding the net, but the goal was disallowed for offside. Just seconds later, in the 6th minute, Milan threatened again: Mascarello, from the left side of the box, unleashed a powerful shot towards the top corner, but Gilardi did well to tip it out for a corner. In the 25th minute, another chance for Milan: Van Dooren, on the counterattack, attempted a shot from the right from about 25 meters, but Gilardi was alert and gathered it comfortably. Como Women created their first opportunity in the 33rd minute, when Madsen delivered a cross from the right and Nischler, getting ahead of the Rossoneri defense, headed the ball in the box, but the effort was central and easily saved by Giuliani. In the 38th minute, Cecotti tried from distance, but her shot was deflected out for a corner. From the resulting set piece, Picchi attempted another long-range effort, but the shot was central and comfortably handled by Giuliani. The first half ended goalless at 0-0.

In the second half, in the 52nd minute, Milan were dangerous again through Mascarello, whose low shot from the edge of the box was deflected and went out for a corner, narrowly missing the far post. A minute later, in the 53rd, the home side had a chance from a free kick on the right: the ball was crossed into the box and Soffia glanced it with a header towards goal, but Nischler did brilliantly to clear it off the line, preventing Milan from taking the lead. In the 68th minute, Como Women head coach Paolo Tramezzani was sent off after receiving a second yellow card for protesting. In the 88th minute came perhaps the best chance for Como: Bernardi did well to win the ball from Giuliani in the box and played it across goal; after a deflection by the Milan defense, Picchi struck first-time, but her shot hit the post following a crucial touch by Giuliani. In the closing moments, Grimshaw attempted a right-footed shot from distance, but it went just over the bar to the left.

The match ended 0-0, with both teams moving up to 25 points in the standings. For Tramezzani’s side, it marks a fourth consecutive positive result without conceding a goal. Their next fixture is scheduled for April 3 at 6:00 PM, when Como Women will face Roma away from home.
