Como Women defeat Caronnese 8-2 in a friendly match

Como Women’s preparations for the restart of the Serie A Women season continued in the afternoon at the Municipal Stadium in Caronno Pertusella, where Stefano Sottili’s side took part in a joint training session against Caronnese Women, winning 8-2.

After the home side took the early lead, Como Women reacted with determination, going into the break ahead 2-1 thanks to a brace from Berisha. In the second half, the Lariane raised the tempo and found the net consistently through Kerr (two goals), Nischler (two goals), Pavan and Bernardi.

The build-up to the league restart will continue with a friendly match scheduled for Saturday 10 January against Brescia, to be played behind closed doors at the Sport Village in Cislago.

Como Women will then return to official action on Saturday 17 January at 6:00 pm, when they will face Napoli away from home on matchday ten of the Serie A Women championship.
