Primavera 2 Championship: Venezia and Como Women draw 0–0

In Group A of the Primavera Championship, the match at the “Taliercio” Stadium in Mestre ended in a 0–0 draw between Venezia and Como Women’s Primavera side.

This was the post-match comment from head coach Riccardo Panzeri:
“It was a very intense and well-played match. We did very well, especially in the defensive phase, winning back a lot of balls high up the pitch and allowing very little to the opposition. However, we need to improve in the final third and in our decision-making, because we create a lot but convert too little. Unfortunately, this is an issue we’ve had since the beginning of the season.

The girls showed great team spirit, pressing, and intensity; they always leave the pitch satisfied with their performance.

Now we will continue to work for both the present and the future, gradually integrating the younger players into the team. Congratulations to everyone, because we are a tough team, and credit to Venezia as well, because it was a great battle, just like in the first leg.”
