Primavera 2 Championship, Como Women defeated 1–0 by Freedom

On matchday seven of the Primavera 2 championship, the U19 team was defeated 1–0 by Freedom, with De Tommaso scoring in the 27th minute.

These were the words of coach Riccardo Panzeri: “The result was influenced by a mistake and a single episode, and throughout the match we struggled to play cleanly against an opponent that was very aggressive on second balls. In the second half, however, we created a lot, hitting the post, the crossbar, and having a disallowed goal that needs to be reviewed. We are a young team that still needs to grow in managing key moments, because a single build-up mistake cost us the match today. Starting Tuesday, we’ll work to prepare as best as possible for Vicenza and to improve our composure and consistency.”

The next match for the U19s will be on Saturday, December 13 at 2:30 p.m. against Vicenza, at the “Carlo Tavecchio” Municipal Stadium in Ponte Lambro (CO).
