In Bregnano, the first official visit of CEO Nicola Verdun to the youth Academy

First official visit to the youth sector for Nicola Verdun, CEO of F.C. Como Women, who this afternoon visited the municipal sports center in Bregnano to meet with the Under-19 and Under-17 teams, along with their respective coaching staffs.
Having taken over leadership of the club during the summer, Verdun wanted to get a closer look at the heart of the Club’s development project: the youth sector and the training of young female players. After a tour of the sports center, the CEO attended training sessions and spent time with the players and staff, emphasizing the strategic importance of the youth academy for the future of Como Women.

“We deeply believe in the development of the youth sector, not only as a technical path but also as an educational and values-based project. Investing in the growth of girls from the youngest age groups is a strategic priority for us. The youth academy represents the future of the club: our goal is to create an increasingly professional and stimulating environment where every young player can express her potential and, one day, aspire to play in the first team. Supporting the journey of the youngest girls also means contributing concretely to the growth of the entire women’s football movement,” said Verdun during the visit.
The meeting was a moment of connection and sharing between the club's leadership (with Mauro Ferrara, the Club’s COO, and Gigi Bonanno, Head of Youth Academy, also in attendance) and the young athletes, fully in line with F.C. Como Women’s vision of building a solid, inclusive, and sustainable project—starting from the ground up.
