“We are exactly halfway through the season. The assessment of this first part of the campaign is certainly positive: being four points off third place is a significant figure considering the work that has been done. It is a league of great balance, as the numbers and the standings show, and for this reason every match is always very unpredictable, both in terms of the result and the balance that develops during the game. It’s an enjoyable, competitive league, and we are happy with what we are doing. At the same time, we are not completely satisfied with the results of the recent period, because given the performances we have delivered, the team might have deserved to collect something more. Over the course of a season, moments like these can happen, when perhaps not everyone is available, but the team has responded very well: in fact, we are coming off two excellent performances”.

“Now we hope to put in an equally determined performance, but one that also comes with a positive result, because we are facing an opponent we know well, for the way they play, for their quality and for what they are capable of producing on the pitch, both in terms of organization and individual players. The attitude we showed against Inter is what we must build on. Losing like that hurts, but it shows that, despite the difficulties, the team keeps trying until the very end, even with a short squad and the differences that exist. We must be able to evaluate and comment first and foremost on the performance. We know that sometimes it’s the episodes that decide the result: sometimes they go your way, sometimes against you, but with this attitude I am convinced that sooner or later they will turn in our favor as well”.
