On the match and the result: “I believe that, based on the chances we created, we deserved something more. The clearest opportunities fell to us, and it’s disappointing not to have taken all three points, especially away against a strong side like Lazio. Without taking anything away from our opponents: when a goalkeeper proves decisive, it means you’re facing a quality team. That said, we come from two matches in which we’ve picked up just one point, and that’s frustrating considering the effort the players put in and the quality of football we produced. There is some regret because we created many potentially dangerous situations but, on a few occasions, we weren’t able to get our shots on target. Even so, I want to highlight the team’s positive performance. I said it last Sunday as well: with displays like these, the results will come.”
On the league and the standings: “The league remains very balanced, with the exception of Roma, who are enjoying an extraordinary season. The growth of mid-table teams has narrowed the gap with those that until recently were considered the ‘big’ clubs, making Serie A Women more competitive and entertaining. This overall rise in quality is also a benefit for head coach Soncin, who now has a wider pool of players ready to contribute at international level.”
On the team’s development: “Some regret is natural, but what really matters is the growth process we are going through. Looking back at last season, Lazio showed over time that they have strong qualities, just as Como Women and Milan did in the fight for the top positions. The technical progress of these teams is clear and provides a solid foundation on which to keep building, within a structured project supported by the clubs.”
On the next match: “Now we look ahead. Against Juventus we’ll try to deliver another strong performance. It would be great to finally come away with more.”

Viktoria Pinther's statements
“It was another strong performance, even if we only took one point. What was missing to win all three points was mainly a bit more quality and decisiveness in the final phase. We created chances and played well, just like last week, when the performance was very positive. The team showed intensity, personality and belief until the last minute, and that’s an important sign. It was a good step forward and something we can build on to keep improving and to be even better next week. As for my performance, I think I did well. I tried to bring energy, strength and intensity to the team, especially going forward. I didn’t score, but I’m satisfied with my contribution and I want to keep working to help the team even more”.
