First pre-season test for Como Women

Como Women played their first pre-season test of the 2025/2026 season against Roma at the Mezzana (TN) training center.
The match, played at a good pace despite the heavy workload of pre-season training, ended 1-0 in favor of the Giallorosse, coached by Luca Rossettini, thanks to a goal by Galli in the 54th minute.

It was the first outing of the season for Stefano Sottili’s side. After the match, the coach had this to say: “We’re just at the beginning of our journey, with many new faces and a squad that’s still not complete. The girls approached the 90 minutes with commitment and great attitude, and we’re pleased that no one picked up injuries.
Against a strong opponent, we received useful indications about where we need to improve. There were some positive signs, but we need to grow—especially in managing simple errors.
The new players have integrated well, both technically and on a human level. Our team identity is still a work in progress, but that’s exactly what these games are for: to understand how to raise our level.”
