On the result: “It was a match that leaves some regret, especially considering what we showed in the first half. We delivered a strong performance, creating several chances but failing to convert them. We weren’t able to find the goal and, against a team of this level, that eventually makes the difference. In the second half, their physical dominance and the quality of their squad came through: the substitutions made an impact and changed the momentum of the game. When you drop deep, allow balls into the box and spend a lot of time in your own half against such a strong side, it becomes difficult not to concede. We were solid in many situations, but unfortunately we let in two goals, and against a team like Juventus that can happen.”

On the team’s performance: “Nevertheless, the performance itself remains very positive, and it was an emotional match for me as well, being my first one on the bench as head coach. I saw a team that fought hard and put into practice everything we worked on during the week, without holding anything back.
