Primavera 2 Championship, a winning start: Como Women-Bologna Women 3-1

A winning start to the Primavera 2 season for Como Women’s U19 side, who defeated Bologna Women at the Comunale Stadium in Caronno.

Marco Dessì’s team secured a 3-1 victory thanks to a brace from Demiraj, who scored in the 33rd and 77th minutes, as well as an own goal in the 46th minute. Bologna’s only goal came from Bonora.

Here are the head coach’s comments after the match: “First of all, I would like to congratulate Bologna because they are a really good team. Aside from that, we also played a good match, although we still have a lot of work to do. I liked the girls’ attitude, which was crucial for us. The most important thing is that they maintained that attitude from the first minute to the 95th.”

The Primavera side’s next fixture will be away against Lumezzane next weekend, on Matchday 2 of the Primavera 2 Championship, Group A.
