F.C. Como Women joins FIDAS Imperia in promoting blood donation

F.C. Como Women will take part in an initiative aimed at raising awareness of the importance of blood donation.
The team and staff will be in Western Liguria from 16 to 18 September for a series of activities in the local area and, on the morning of Thursday, 17 September, will visit the FIDAS Blood Collection Unit in Imperia.
The visit will be an important opportunity to promote, through the example of the players, the values of solidarity, responsibility and care for others, with a particular focus on raising awareness among younger generations about the importance of donating blood.
“We are particularly proud to welcome a sports organisation of this calibre. We wanted these days to be not only an opportunity focused on sport, but also a chance to deliver an important message,” said FIDAS Imperia. “On Thursday, the entire team will join us at the Blood Collection Unit in Imperia to demonstrate, through their example, how important it is to donate blood. We want to speak above all to young people: donating takes little time, but it can truly make a difference and save a life.”
The initiative has been made possible thanks to the commitment of FIDAS Imperia and the support of entrepreneur Denis Muca, with the aim of bringing together sport, the local community and solidarity through a tangible message addressed to the wider community.
