F.C. Como Women is pleased to announce the appointment of Alison Rigaglia as the new Team Manager of the First Team.

After bringing her playing career to a close at the end of the 2025/26 season, Alison begins an exciting new chapter in football, returning to an environment she knows well. Her return to Como marks both the completion of a journey and the beginning of a new one. Wearing the Como Women shirt, she helped the Club earn promotion to Serie A in 2022 and played a key role in securing its place in Italy’s top flight during the following season.

Alison began her football career in Sicily with Nebrodi before going on to play for Bologna, San Marino Academy, Como Women and Genoa. Throughout her career, she achieved several significant milestones, including helping San Marino Academy earn back-to-back promotions from Serie C to Serie A, as well as winning promotion to Serie A with both Como Women and Genoa.

Following the conclusion of her playing career with Genoa, Alison has chosen to bring her experience and deep knowledge of the game to the team from a new perspective. As Team Manager, she will serve as a key point of reference for both the coaching staff and the players, supporting the daily organisation and management of the First Team.

"Returning to Como is an emotion that's difficult to put into words. I experienced some of the most important moments of my career here, and coming back in a new role is an incredible feeling. After so many years on the pitch, I'm excited to begin this new journey as part of the First Team staff," said Alison Rigaglia. "Football has always been a fundamental part of my life, and this opportunity allows me to continue living it from a different perspective. I will bring the experience I've gained as a player, striving to be a point of reference for the players and the entire group, with enthusiasm, positivity, and a determination to face every challenge by always finding solutions."

Sporting Director Miro Keci also welcomed Alison's appointment: "At Como Women, we strongly believe in the value of people and the expertise they bring to the growth of the Club, both on and off the pitch. We are delighted to welcome Alison back as she begins a new phase of her professional journey within our organisation. Her experience as a player, her deep understanding of women's football, and her ability to appreciate the day-to-day dynamics of a team make her ideally suited for this role. We are confident that Alison will bring professionalism, enthusiasm and expertise to the position, supporting the First Team in achieving its objectives."
