F.C. Como Women Sign Ginevra Moretti on Loan from Juventus
Photo Credits: Como WomenF.C. Como Women are delighted to announce the signing of Ginevra Moretti on loan from Juventus. The Italian forward, born in 2005, joins the Club on a temporary basis until 30 June 2027.
Born in Pontremoli on 6 October 2005, Moretti joined Como Women after a development journey that saw her emerge through the youth systems of Spezia and Juventus, before gaining experience in Serie A Women.
Passionate about football from an early age, following in the footsteps of her father and brother, Moretti began her football journey at Magra Azzurri before joining Spezia's youth academy at the age of ten. With the Ligurian club, she completed her development through the youth ranks, establishing herself as one of the club's most promising talents. In June 2019, with Spezia's Under-15 team, she finished as the top scorer of the Città di Arenzano Tournament.
After being spotted by Juventus scouts in the summer of 2020, at just 14 years old, she joined the Bianconere youth academy, becoming part of the Primavera squad at the age of 15. In the following seasons, she contributed to Juventus Primavera's journey, reaching three consecutive Primavera Championship finals and becoming the competition's top scorer in 2023 with 24 goals.
On 22 July 2024, she moved on loan to Napoli in Serie A Women, where she gained regular playing time during the 2024/25 season, gaining valuable experience in the Italian top flight before returning to Juventus.
Moretti has also represented Italy at youth international level. First called up in 2021 for the Italy Under-17 national team, she made her debut by scoring in the UEFA European Championship 2022 qualifiers and also netted a brace in a friendly match against Estonia.
