Matilde Pavan returns to F.C. Como Women

Como, August 14, 2025 – F.C. Como Women is delighted to welcome back Matilde Pavan, the 2004-born midfielder, who returns to the club on loan from Juventus until June 30, 2026.
Pavan already wore the Como Women shirt during the 2022/23 season, making 24 appearances out of 26 league matches, scoring 3 goals and playing a key role in the team’s campaign.
“Coming back to Como feels like closing one chapter and opening a new one,” said Pavan. “I experienced intense emotions here: earning safety at 18 was a pivotal moment in my journey. I built a deep connection with the club and its people, so wearing this jersey again is truly special. It’s a place that feels like home, but now I return eager to show how much I’ve grown. I expect an even more ambitious and well-organized environment. Change brings new energy and ideas, and I believe this new phase can offer a lot to the club and its players. I sense a clear vision for growing both the team and women’s football. I can't wait to contribute, on and off the pitch.”
Pavan began her football journey with Venezia before moving to Hellas Verona, where she made her Serie A debut. After a spell with Inter, she continued her development and eventually joined Juventus. Over the course of her career, she has also worn the Azzurre jersey, making her senior debut for Italy in April 2023.
On her personal and team goals, she stated:
“Personally, I want to get back to performing at 100% after my injury, proving my worth and helping the team in every way possible. As a group, our goal is to play a solid season with the right mindset and the drive to always raise the bar. I want to be a reliable teammate and a key asset on the field — because personal success only comes when the collective works.”
Sporting Director Miro Keci shared his thoughts on the player’s return:
“I’ve known Matilde since she was 12 years old and have worked with her before at other clubs. She’s a player of pure talent, and I’ve wanted to bring her back to Como for a long time. Now it’s time for her to commit to the team and the staff.”
