Valery Vigilucci joins F.C. Como Women

F.C. Como Women are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Valery Vigilucci on a permanent basis. The Italian midfielder has signed a contract with the Club until 30 June 2028.

Born in Volterra on 15 April 1997, Vigilucci joined Como Women after her latest season with Genoa Women, bringing extensive experience from the highest levels of Italian women's football.

Vigilucci came through the youth system at Firenze, where she immediately made her mark by winning the Primavera Championship in the 2012/13 season and earning promotion to the first team. She made her Serie A debut at a very young age and, season after season, established herself within the squad, scoring her first top-flight goal in January 2015. With the creation of Fiorentina Women's in the summer of 2015, she became part of the new Viola project, developing into one of the club's key players over the years and winning, among other honours, a league title. During her time in Florence, she made numerous Serie A appearances and made her UEFA Women's Champions League debut, scoring on her first appearance in the competition during the 2017/18 season. After seven seasons in Florence, she joined AC Milan in the summer of 2022, continuing her career in the Italian top flight until 2024. She then moved to Genoa Women, where she played the 2025/26 season and also made her debut in the Serie A Women’s Cup.

Throughout her career, Vigilucci has also represented the Italian national team, starting with the Under-17 and Under-19 youth selections before receiving her first call-up to the senior national team in 2016.
