Serie A Women Athora, the mixed zone of Como Women-Parma Women
At the end of the match, Paolo Tramezzani and the South Tyrolean midfielder, who scored her eighth goal of the season today, spoke to the press.
Nadine Nischler’s words
“The draw is a pity because we wanted all three points, so now with just one point we’re not very satisfied. But in the end we fought for each other and that is a good aspect. The desire was there, the determination from everyone to fight and to win, but in the end we couldn’t bring it home, and that’s a shame. I’m happy about the goal: it’s always nice to score, also because it helps the team. It’s always nice.”

“For what both teams showed on the pitch today, I think the result is fair. They tried to play their football, to keep more possession and to draw us out. We did well not to get pulled in too much: we tried to play out from the back, involving the wide players; when we did that and executed cleanly, we created some good passages of play. There weren’t many big chances on either side, so in the end I think the result is fair.
When you try to play to win and then you don’t, there’s always something missing. It went well in the sense that we were able to believe in it and take the lead; we forced a few more plays and, when we did, we found more space and were a bit more incisive: we were probably moving better up front. Then we conceded the equaliser.
But overall I’d say it was good, considering the conditions and the heat for both teams. At this stage of the season, the team maybe has to dig a bit deeper to find all the remaining energy, because as I said the season is long and the final matches can be decided by many episodes and situations. The team is alive, trains well, works hard, runs, gives everything and always tries to win, and today it showed all of that.”
