"I think the result was equal if you look at the chances, because Astrid Gilardi also saved us in the first half, and in the second half Giulia Ruma made a great save on the last shot. From my point of view, it always feels like we should have scored and should have won. I think we just need to keep believing in ourselves, because we always want to win. So obviously, when you feel like you can score and there’s a feeling that a goal is coming, it becomes very motivating. I think we just kept pushing because we really wanted it.
It was a good season, I’m happy. I’m a bit unhappy today because of the disallowed goal — of course I need to watch it back, I don’t know if it was the right decision or not, but they definitely made a call. For that, I’m sad, because I could have had at least two goals this season, and now I only have one. But I always want more, and overall I’m happy".

“First of all, we need to praise these girls, because reaching this point of the season with great energy and great humility in their daily work is truly something worth mentioning and highlighting. So the first big credit goes to them, and then to all the work of the staff, which in my opinion led to a great performance against a team that has had a very good season, but without ever forgetting our own journey.
Today we saw what we work on every single day: from aggressive pressing to transitions, to the ability to manage the ball even under strong pressure from the opposition. So I can only be really pleased; clearly, we were only missing the goal. There were episodes, and certainly moments in the match where we were in full control. In particular, after the disallowed goal, we were still close to their box on several occasions, and that shows how much the girls wanted to bring home the result today.
Obviously, in the first half Astrid Gilardi made an extremely important save on a shot from Bellucci, and I also want to give my final compliments to Giulia Ruma, because it was very difficult to come on today: she truly deserves it for the daily work she does together with the whole goalkeeping group, alongside coach Stefano Grilli.”
