“I’m satisfied with both the result and the performance. I think a draw was a fair result: they played a little better in the first half, while we put in an excellent second-half performance against a very high-quality team. It wasn’t easy to come back from going behind and then play the final 45 minutes with that level of intensity. In the second half, we showed everything this team has at the moment: character, personality, determination to get back into the game and the ability to respond. Over the course of the 90 minutes, we once again played good football, which allows us to compete on equal terms even against strong teams and perform at the same level. I’m very happy because conceding a goal didn’t stop us or affect the way we wanted to play. It was a great match, one that has given us another reason to be proud. I’m truly delighted for the girls.”
“I’m pleased with the start we’ve made to the season and with our performances in the first three rounds, because we’ve played well against every team we’ve faced. That is the foundation of the work we’re doing. Of course, when positive results come as well, the satisfaction is even greater. This is an important journey that began during pre-season training camp and continued through the Women’s Cup and the start of the league campaign. Over these first two and a half months, the girls have given so much in every respect, and it’s only right to acknowledge that and give them the credit they deserve.”

“We struggled a little more in the first half, particularly in midfield. We made a few adjustments at half-time and came into the game more in the second half. We created our own chances and could even have won. I believe we have a really strong group this season, and we wanted to take all three points, so I can’t say I’m completely satisfied.”
On the team’s response at the start of the second half and her goal: “At half-time, we spoke in the dressing room and agreed that we needed to do something differently. Then we scored straight away, and that goal also helped us regain our energy. I’m happy to have scored my first goal for Como Women. I’m really pleased. I think we’re working well and playing good football. We could have won today as well, but I’m still proud of our team.”
