Primavera 2 Championship: Como Women U19 draw 1-1 at Lumezzane

Como Women’s U19 team drew 1-1 away to Lumezzane on matchday two of the Primavera 2 Championship.

The girls coached by Marco Dessí found the equaliser in the 53rd minute through Ursillo, just two minutes after the home side had taken the lead.

After the match, the coach analysed the result and the team’s performance:

“We played a good match, especially in the second half, when the girls kept pushing until the end in an attempt to win the game. Compared to the match against Bologna, I also saw a small improvement in terms of our style of play, and that is something that makes me happy.

We’ll take this point, knowing that it is part of the team’s development process. We know there is still work to do, and we will continue to do so with commitment and determination. I believe, however, that we have all the foundations in place to keep improving and to approach every match with the aim of progressively raising the bar.”

The Primavera team’s next fixture will be on Saturday, October 3 at 3:00 p.m., against Moncalieri, at the Stadio Comunale di Caronno Pertusella.
