F.C. Como Women appoints Paolo Tramezzani as Head Coach of the First Team, signing a contract valid until June 2028.
Tramezzani has extensive international experience in football management and joins with immediate effect at an important phase in the season. His appointment reflects F.C. Como Women's desire for an international figure, accustomed to operating in multicultural environments with a strong and proven leadership style.
“It was a thoughtful decision, shared with my family and thoroughly discussed with the Club. I found great alignment with the club regarding both the present and the future, and I am convinced that this for me is the right decision,” said Tramezzani.
“I like to think of football as a project, for both the short and long term. My goal is to give my best to help the Club and the players grow, building together a solid and lasting path forward. My experience living and coaching abroad has allowed me to develop an international mindset, which is useful in a context like Como Women, with foreign ownership and a squad made of many international players. I believe it is essential to share a common vision and a clear idea of how to work,” added the coach.
Tramezzani also highlighted: “From the very first training session, I have been impressed by the level and attitude of the players. We want to grow match by match, with the commitment and heart necessary to make our fans proud of what the team does both on and off the pitch.”
