Primavera 2 Championship: Como Women win 3–0 away at Venezia

In Group A of the Primavera 2 Championship, at the “Taliercio” Sports Center in Mestre, Como Women’s U19 side defeated Venezia 3–0 thanks to an own goal and strikes from Corioni and Cappellano.

This was the match analysis from head coach Riccardo Panzeri: “We were really excellent. We played a high-quality game and adapted well to the opponents’ change in approach without conceding virtually anything. There was never really a contest—we stayed in control from start to finish. The team was solid, compact, and also showed quality on the ball, creating many chances: it was probably the game in which we produced the most. What makes me happiest, though, is seeing them enjoy playing together. There’s a united group that feels good on and off the pitch, and that shows in our performances. Everyone contributed, from the starters to those who came on: from a technical point of view, I really can’t fault them—it was a complete performance.”

The Primavera’s next fixture will be on Saturday, March 28, at home in the derby against Como 1907.
