Campionato Primavera 2, Venezia-Como Women ends 0-3

The fourth round of the Primavera 2 Championship saw Venezia face Como Women, with Marco Dessì’s side securing a convincing 3-0 victory at the “G. Taliercio” Stadium in Mestre. The goals came from Demiraj in the 43rd minute, Perin in the 46th minute and Egidi in the 92nd minute.

After the match, assistant coach Manuel Della Marca shared his thoughts: “Today we witnessed a performance of great maturity from the girls, who approached the match exactly as we had prepared for it. From the opening whistle, their attitude was excellent: we took to the pitch with the right determination, attacked the space and imposed our playing identity for long stretches of the game.

Beyond the tactical aspects, what makes us most proud is the team’s mentality and its ability to manage the pace of the match with confidence and quality. This level of performance does not happen by chance; it is a direct reflection of the hard work and commitment this group demonstrates in every single training session. We must enjoy this result while keeping our feet on the ground: the season is still a long one, and every match comes with its own challenges.”

With this victory, Como Women’s Under-19 side move to the top of Group A, level with Lumezzane on 10 points.

Their next fixture will be at home against Brescia on Saturday, 24 October, at 2:30 p.m. at the Stadio Comunale in Caronno Pertusella.
